Belt conveyor roller refers to the rollers or idlers that are used in a belt conveyor system. A belt conveyor is a mechanism that transports materials continuously using an endless belt that runs over two or more pulleys/rollers. The belt conveyor roller plays a crucial role in supporting the conveyor belt and guiding it along the desired path.

Types of Belt Conveyor Rollers:

(1). Return Roller/Idler: Used to support the underside of the conveyor belt on the return path.

(2). Impact Roller/Crusher Roller: Located at the loading point to withstand the impact of falling material onto the belt. These rollers are often designed with thicker walls and/or special materials to handle the impact.

(3). Troughed Roller/Idler: Used to create a trough shape in the belt to contain the material being transported.

(4). Transition Roller/Idler: Used to transition the belt from a flat to a troughed configuration or vice versa.

(5). Snub Roller/Pulley: Small rollers located at the end of the conveyor to redirect the belt and help maintain belt tension.

(6). Carrying Roller/Idler: Located under the loaded portion of the conveyor belt to support the weight of the material being transported.
